Pat Coyner has been a decorated teacher, coach, and mentor for thousands of students of all skill levels, from beginners to Touring Professionals. He is the current Director of Instruction at Cherry Hills Country Club (CO). He has been awarded the two highest honors for instructors in the Middle Atlantic PGA; the Section Teacher of the Year Award, and the Section Professional Development Award. Pat has also been ranked annually since 2015 in Golf Digest as a Best-In-State Teacher and is recognized as one of GOLF Magazine’s Top 100 Teachers in America. Since being elected into PGA of America membership in 2006, Pat has been a contributing instructor for PGA Magazine, and has presented at numerous Teaching and Coaching Summits throughout the PGA of America. He is also a contributing instructor for the Colorado PGA and the Colorado Golf Association. As a player, Pat attended the University of Maryland-Baltimore County on a golf scholarship. He captured 3 individual titles during his time at UMBC, and was twice named Team Captain and All-Conference. Pat also has 14 victories to his credit in his 25+ years as a PGA Professional.
Pat and his wife, Amy, are the proud parents of their two sons, Jackson and Henry.
